Author Event: Betty Friedan, Magnificent Disruptor by Rachel Shteir In-Person
Rachel Shteir will introduce you to her newest book, a biographical portrait of Betty Friedan, the author and activist acclaimed as the mother of second-wave feminism. A lucid portrayal of Friedan as a bold yet flawed advocate for women’s equality. Rachel will be joined by local journalist and author Linda Bird Francke, who knew Betty Friedan.
