The 43-acre waterfront Vanderbilt Estate, Museum and Planetarium complex counts among its extensive collections (which total more than 40,000 objects) the mansion, curator’s cottage, a seaplane hangar and boathouse, antique household furnishings, rare decorative and fine art, the archives and photographic record of Mr. Vanderbilt’s circumnavigations of the globe, and published books of his travels.
The Vanderbilt Mansion, Museum, and Planetarium membership pass includes:
- Free General Admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children
- Entry to select free events, bird walks, car shows, exhibitions, Natural Science and History Lectures
- Access to the Solar System Nature Trail
- Discounts on Museum programs and events
- 10% discount at the Gift Shop
Restrictions
- Not valid for free entry to Planetarium shows or Mansion tours; tickets may be purchased upon arrival
- Library passes cannot be applied to tickets purchased online due to limitations in the booking system
The Vanderbilt Estate has cobblestone roads and hilly terrain; please be sure to wear sensible shoes for your comfort when visiting.
